Once collected, dried, and air cleaned; our pollen is bottled and stored frozen to maintain nutritional quality. Until you use it, we recommend storing it frozen. Although brief periods at room temperature are not deleterious to the pollen, some of the nutritional components of pollen will not last for an extended period at room temperature.
NOTE that bee pollen can be an allergen causing serious allergic reactions. Always consult your allergist before consuming pollen. Do not feed to children, pregnant women, or nursing women except under the advice of an allergist. Discontinue if irritation or a reaction occurs.
