This order includes four (4) of the 1# plastic squeeze bottles of natural, unfiltered, & raw honey from southeast Louisiana in Tangipahoa Parish WITH FREE SHIPPING. Our colonies are free of antibiotics and harsh chemical treatments for mites. We rotate out old combs to prevent harming our honey, and we do not “burn” our honey by pasteurizing it or heating it to filter out the pollen. In fact, our honey is unfiltered meaning the natural pollen is still in our honey!
Since shipping is FREE on this purchase, there are no other shipping charges added to this order. This is the best option for customers ordering JUST a few bottles of honey.
When you leave the suspended pollen and refuse to overheat honey, you can actually taste the flowers the bees use to make the honey. This is what makes our honey so uniquely flavorful! It is our opinion that bees make the best possible tasting honey, and all people can do is make that taste worse if they are not careful. We make sure to take the care necessary to keep our honey tasting so delicious!
Each area has its own unique honey flavor due to the flowers in the area of that particular area. The flavor of the honey will vary from year to year as the proportion of each type of flower varies! Natural honey WILL vary every harvest. Since we small batch bottle our honey, you can expect minor changes in flavor from year to year, season to season, beeyard to beeyard, and even hive to hive. The differences in taste are due to the differences in the particular “bouquet” of flowers for each individual harvest.
